Dolphins are never mentioned by name in the Bible, but they do abound in the Mediterranean and Red Seas. The common, bottlenose, striped, and Risso's dolphin are all to be seen both in Eilat, the most common Red Sea vacation spot (perhaps because they'll let you swim with them there), and all along Israel's western coast.
